I was unable to breastfeed my first. The hospital I delivered at used similac advanced with iron, it was way to rough on my babies belly but they wouldn't switch it. After coming home I bought a couple small cans of a few different brands. It turned out the soy formula from Wal-Mart was the easiest on her belly and seemed to stay down better. I'd advise that you try each formula for a couple days to see how baby responds to it. Too much gas or fussing or throwing up and I'd try a gentler formula. Good luck!
You kinda have to play it by babies reaction to it.breastfeeding is the best but if you can't just take it slowly on which in brands if you have too .
Well there's so many and depends on babies belly some babies have sensitive tummies. It also depends on what the hospital give you too. Some hospitals go with Enfamil for newborns but others might have similac.
