got my tubal ligation papers signed

The only thing that I was happy about today's  drs. Visit. This wasn't my my usual dr since my usual dr was completely  booked this month I saw another and she was so freaked vague on everything. But whatever. At least I got my papers signed. Unfortunately  because it's kaiser I won't know about my options  about female sterilization  and if I can get the tubal done thru the cervix  right after birth till I go into labor. Also dr. Didn't even answer  my questions on an elective c section. Today's visit was plain Disappointing. I found out no more then what i already knew baby's head is done which into knew I'll be loosing my mucus plug constantly  which isn't any news and my regular  contractions  will continue  till they either get stronger or till I bleed or water breaks.... knew that... think this dr was  already done with her day so she was very in and out. Man the only good news was that women who tend to have a long labor like I have since 33 weeks means it will be shorter pushing time and less painful and quick and easy. Let's hope so.

Well I was informed thru another  mom on here who had kaiser in northern CA I'm in southern CA that they can ties tubes thru the cervix 24 hr after labor. And her dr was suggesting it for her. I was told by my Dr I'm had to wait 6-8 weeks after labor to get it done.  I also wanted to get an elective c section if it were possible so they could tie my tubes at once too but this dr was so vague on the whole visit that she wasn't helpful. I'm just gonna have to wait till I go into labor to get any real info. Which s.u.c.k.s cause I want at least that set up because we have to pay 500.00 copay for hospital stay and I don't want to have to pay for that twice.
