This may not be your issue, but I started taking my prenatal vitamin at dinner time instead of lunch and my heartburn/acid reflux completely went away. I would play around with the time of day you take it because it seems like it affects everyone differently. Other than that though, everyone i spoke with recommended tums.

Drink a glass of milk. It coats your stomach and pts the fire out of your cheesy and throat as you drink. It works great for me

I take these great antacid chewables that kind of look and taste like big skittles.. I think the brand name ones are Alka seltzer?  I find them at target and wal mart in the store brands.. they work well and aren't chalky like tums tend to be.

I use tums, and milk really helps me. If you do use tums, just make sure you get the ones with calcium is what my ob told me (: I hate it. Sometimes its so bad it moves up my throat. I hope this helped

A teaspoon of apple cider vinegar followed by a small glass of ice water is what my midwife suggested. It works for me. I take it morning and night and I have no more heartburn! Works after one dose. And no side-effects or rebound heartburn like with tums and other meds. Make sure it's the apple cider vinegar with "the mother". It'll say it on the bottle. Hope it helps! They say it helps with blood pressure and blood sugar regulation as well. Added benefits for pregnancy if you ask me!
