Well I keep having more and more mucus  I just have to say it's freaking nasty. I wiped and got so much 9th the toilet paper and on my hand.... also it smells differnt  then pee or any other type  of mucus. It smells clean... or sweet. Seriously  wish Dr's could give more info on mucus plugs and bag of waters like on smell and color. Dr today just said if it's watery and clear.... I'm like that's all? And if it's more mucus just to watch for bloody mucus.

I'm calling this progress.have some blood tinged mucus now. My shots have been given so when ever this kids ready awesome.my 2 other pregnancies  before this were not as up and down near the delivery time. My son I was losing mucus but no cramping no Contraction til I was in active labor. my daughter lost mucus plug and went I to active labor within 10 hrs. This one it just seems I'm losing  the mucus by a bunch and having regular  contractions  and dilating slowly I assume. But I just don't wanna keep visiting labor and delivery. Well my next prenatal check up is on the 20th. Hopefully my OB will give me more progressive new when I see her.

I'm due April 24 my mucus has color to it and it's thick and stringy and like snot goo.

What day of April are you due?.. I've noticed like small clear traces of it on toilet paper. Strange to think our babies are going to be here next month lol.

Well I noticed this sweet smell and sweat smell to it. It was yellow beige with a hint of a green to it which is normal. But yea mine had a strange smell.

Oh I know what it means iv been in and out of labor and delivery. I'm 30% and 1.5cm which is nothing to already mom.  It was just surprising how much came out earlier and how gross it was. This is #3 and with my first I lost the whole thing at once and with 2nd it was in pieces too

Do they have a smell? I know that's nasty to ask lol.. but I think I havelittle by little coming out and it smells strange

Mucus discharge does pick up in the last trimester.  I'm 32 weeks and started wearing a panty liner.  Do watch for it being tinged pink.  It means you've lost your mucus plug and likely starting to dilate. Even after you lose it it could be days before actually going into labor. There's definietly a difference between mucus and amniotic fluid.  It feels like you've peed your pants if it breaks.
