My family hates the name kendra. But my bf an I LOVE it. We still don't know Till Wednesday what were having but we love the name Kendra Ryleigh. Is Kendra really that bad? I know it doesn't matter what they think it won't change my mind but seriously is it them or us? Lol

If that the name the two of you like than use it. You are the baby's parent and will be using the name more. Family,friends etc will have too many opinions for you during pregnancy and even after the baby comes to how you raise your child.  They will get over the name and learn to love it.  We have never told anyone the name of our children before they were born.  That way we don't hear their opinions.  I think it a beautiful name and if that the name you want use it.

Its a good name. Kendra in HINDI language means 'center'. True to her name, she is going to be center of everything that u do. All d best.

You should pick whatever name you and your boyfriend like. You should tell your family to be more supportive of your choice of names.

It's YOUR child. If they don't like Kendra they can come up with a nickname to call her. Do what makes you happy you're the momma! :)

If you guys like it then it doesn't matter what they think. We were thinking Tatiana, but a few of my relatives think that it is a "black girl" name. Makes me shake my head. Point being. If you love it, doesn't matter.

The only thing I can think of being wrong with the name Kendra is that one of Hugh Heffner's "Bunnys'" name is Kendra and she now has her own show called Kendra's on top, something about her getting married and having a kid I don't know too much but I had a really good friend in 5th grade named Kendra and she is still an amazing person to this day. All in all, I agree with momma2bee2015 it's your kid not theirs. Tell them if you have to, something along the lines of: they chose not to name you Kendra so their work is done, they had their chance. Don't let them take all the fun out of choosing a name :)

I like it :) my daughters name will be Kinleigh Sophia. I like it and at the end of everyday shell be ur child. Dont let outsiders, family included male u second guess the name u picked for ur baby. My family hates that its a name not in my family and no where near close to a relatives name, but thats what i was going for :) just ignore them. Part of the fun in having and creating a baby is included the name. Theyll carry it for ever :)
