Thank you all! I finally invested in a pregnancy pillow. And the ice pack did wonders.

Icy/Hot or Bengay, a warm bath, Tylenol, half a sleeping pill. These all help my back pain and help me get to sleep. Mine started about 2 weeks ago at 17 weeks. I know it will continue till about 3 weeks after baby is born. But, this is my 3rd pregnancy with terrible back and hip pain. Good luck to you.

Use an ice pack instead. Its sounding like your muscles are inflamed and heat will only make that worse. I went through back muscle pain with the muscles on my lower back on either side of my spine fir over 3 years. The only way I could gwt comfy was proping myself up in a corner so I could rest my head.

check if you have sciatica. tht could be y you cant seem to get comfortable. or lay on your left side with a pillow between your legs maby 2 pillows so you make sure your legs r evenly seperated not your feet touching or your knees..ihope you feel better.
