to do list!?!?

Im 25 years old and found out at 16 weeks I was pregnant, I am now 21 weeks and everything is looking good for the baby and me. but now that all the initial doctor appointments and shock of my pregnancy is done with, I am starting to wonder and freak out a bit about what needs to be done when, I mean Im half way there and I Dont know when I should register, start planning the baby room, prepare for the labor, or any other of number of things missing, my mom has multiple sclerosis and isn't fully there so its hard to ask her for help and this is my first pregnancy, so any advice is welcome!! I'm usually a very planned out person, so I'm feeling a little lost ha

Get insurance ASAP- these things can take time so get started on insurance right away! You need to check yours and the baby's health as soon as possible.   The more you can get done sooner, the better. In the third trimester you might feel less like doing things that you can do now. :0)
Most baby showers I think tend to be around month 7-8 so of course you'll want to register before then.

I would get the insurance taken care of asap bc that is very important.  As for the room and registry etc we have yet to do anything either. Im 21 weeks. We are waiting to find out the gender and then we will get started. I guess the first half went pretty fast so i can imagine the second half will go even quicker but April is still a few months away. Dont stress and enjoy every second of it!

I believe the more you can get done earlier the less you have to do later and the more you can rest before baby comes

That I am not too sure of, but you could probably start now. At least it wouldn't hurt to call now and ask.

Thank you! I did find out its a boy and my due date is April 6th.. But that totally helps, I've been thinking of when is best to find a pediatrician, I do have one in mind though, and the baby will have to go on state insurance it looks like and I'm not sure when to get the insurance process going, any ideas?

I am 20 weeks with my 2nd child. I have started making my registry. It may take you a little to decide what theme you want fir the room. I will probably have my shower around the end  of February or beginning of March. Somewhere around 32 weeks for my first I pre-registered fir the hospital and did the birth plan.  Around that time we also met with pediatricians,to see where we wanted to go. You still have plenty of time. Most people don't start getting stuff till about this time, because it is when you can find out the gender.
