whats it liked to be induced?

So im 41weeks tomorrow and no signs of baby coming naturally (had 2 natural births before) so i have been booked to be induced next sunday (a week tomorrow) so il be 42weeks. I hear that getting induced is more painful and that it can be a very long progress, could you share your stories of being induced? Thanks x

I was induced Thursday. Got to hospital at 730. Got pictoin at 8pm. Didnt feel much until the middle of the night around 4am. At that time contractions were coming very strong. I held off on pains meds. I previously had 2 natural births. When 8am came around i was in extruciating pain. So much i asked for epidural. started to push at 315 and 324 my baby was here. It only took 3 pushes. I strongly recommend no epidural!! My back is still in pain. It is awful and i wished i never tried it. Inducing is ok in my opinion but i am not a fan of epidural.

I was induced 4/16 at 4am. The contractions were very close and painful. By 5am I was pushing and had my daughter at 5:49am. I did it all natural. In a matter of minutes, I went from 7cm to 10cm. I was only in labor for about 2 hours. I opened very quickly but everyone is different.

I got induced Monday. I was already a 5cm when I went in. Contractions got very very strong once my water broke. I went from a 7 to a 10cm in about 15mins. And she was born after 8 pushes. I did it all natural too.The pitocin made the contractions come very close and very painful towards the end. All together it was 6 hours of labor with the last 30mins of her being born. Good luck!

I was induced a few weeks ago. Contractions come on very strong. I lasted only 4 hours before needing an epidural. This was my first labour experience so I'm not sure for time difference what it is. However I was in Labour for almost 24 hours before I hit 10cm.
