Maternity leave

I was just wondering how many weeks before your due date everyone is planning on going in maternity leave. I am a health care assistant looking after the elderly, and I'm not sure when I should go off, especially as my growing belly will start to make the job challenging towards the end

I will have a scheduled c-section and will work up to that date.

I've found my anxiety is worse with pregnancy. I'm worried about how long I will be able to work before taking maternity leave too :/

Good luck! I stayed as long as I could. My psychiatrist ended up telling me to quit.

My mom was pregnant with twins and a cna. She worked all the way up until labor as well. I couldn't because I had awful pregnancy induced anxiety attacks all the time. I ended up putting my 2 weeks in at 15 weeks and I've been a stay at home mom since.

With my last, I worked right up into labor. So I'll probably do the same with this one. But only because I don't plan on returning to work after our second is born.
