Thank you ladies, I feel a little better. I guess I shouldnt have discribed my doctors appointment as horrible, it just wasnt what I expected to hear. I mean the weight thing is crazy, I feel like a whale, lol, and I look huge! I guess I do have a problem with eating, I never seem to have much of an appetite anymore. I forget to eat alot. I have been drinking lots of milk even though I hate the stuff, because I know how good it is for my baby. I do tend to eat more at night, right before bed, you would think that would cause weight gain, right? I guess it could be from being over weight to start. With my first 2 pregnancys I was at a perfect weight and gained the normal 25-35 pounds. With my last baby it took almost 2 years to get pregnant and I put on 30 pounds TTC. I only gained 15 pounds my entire pregnancy, and he was so tiny! Only 6 lbs 12 oz!! I guess I just worry too much, lol. But thank you for easing my worries:) I cant wait for tuesday!
The bleeding...don't freak out. Spotting is SO COMMON it's not funny. I know it's scary...but as long as you're still feeling your baby moving like normal and the bleeding has stopped, don't worry!
It's quite common to lose some weight at the end of the pregnancy! I've read that in several articles, anyway. I haven't gained one single pound this whole pregnancy...of course, I'm overweight to begin with. If your doctor isn't concerned, I don't think YOU should be! And Yvette is right...it could be water weight. As long as you're eating healthy and getting lots of fluids, you don't need to worry!
Fundal height...it's only a centimeter off! That could be accounted for by the eight pounds you lost! One centimeter could be that they didn't put the strip in the same place on your pubic bone! Again...relax! You poor thing....you're going to make yourself crazy! And I can't say if your baby has "dropped"...but I do know that I am carrying this baby LOW and my MD said that sometimes - especially if you've had a large baby before - subsequent babies can sit lower because your pelvic girdle stretches out more readily. So, while it's not necessarily the same thing as "lightening", the baby CAN be lower.
The MD saying you were 1 cm before, and nothing now...I don't know. Sounds weird. But whatever. Do you trust your OB? If so, then you have to believe that he/she is doing everything appropriately!
Take a deep breath...soak in a nice, warm tub...and buy yourself a pretty new nightgown. LOL. That's what I did earlier this week, and I felt 100 times better! :::hugs:::

I lost 3.5 lbs at my last appt. and my midwife wasn't happy about that. She it was probably bc I started drinking lots of water which I never done b4 I swear I would take a drink of water once a month, but now I drink 5-6 bottles a day. My 32w appt is Monday we'll see how that goes.
Maybe your drop in weight gain was due to water retention...I didn't gain any weight at my last appt (30 weeks). And since February, I've only gained seven pounds.
Good luck at your scan everything will probably turn out just fine. Don't worry too much about the fundal measurements mine have been off the whole pregnancy. Weeks ahead and then weeks behind. In fact they are doing a growth ultrasound on the 9th just to check the baby because the fundal size is so off. I'm not worried she's been fine at every other ultrasound. She's been sitting very low from early on so I don't even see how it's possible for her to drop. Maybe your just going to carry low.
Don't stress and good luck at that ultrasound.
My only problem with my 31/32 week appt was that I gained 6 lbs in 5 weeks. The nurse was more worried about it that the OB though. And I hadn't gained anything in the four weeks prior, so I was making up for lost time. Hoping everything is okay with your scan.
oh, sorry you've had a negative experience sweetie. i'm measuring over 2 weeks behind on the fundal measurements and no one seems concerned. my baby's gone head down too. and, as you know, i passed a large blood clot. i couldn't get a scan with the nhs so i'm waiting till tuesday evening to have one done privately so i can check there's no bleeding threatening the baby. i hope everything turns out ok for you.
Opps typo! 8 pounds in the last 4 weeks!! I should have re- read this before submitting it, lol
