Fetal doppler

has anyone rented or purchased a fetal doppler? How far along were you. I am considering purchasing one on EBay, but would like to get some input on them. I would hate to purchase one if they really don't work.

So I may be right. You may start using it after 12 weeks.

i've heard the cheap ones you can buy in baby stores are terrible and a waste of money. many people i know never heard the HB, even at 9 months.
i rented one online last time. I think it arrived around 14 weeks, and i heard the hb right away. i think it was $26/month.

The cheap ones at Motherhood and target, etc only usuallu work to hear the heartbeat at around 23wks. You could rent an expensive one like one at you doctors office for like 20 bucks a month ad hear the heartbeat at 12wks or earlier.

OOOH, I was wondering the same thing!  I think it would help me just to hear my babies h/b, but I wasn't sure how or if they really worked.  Well, obviously I am no help to you LOL!
