He's here!
My water broke at about 7 last night and I started feeling heavy contractions. We left for the hospital at 7:45, I got an epidural at 11:30 and started pushing at 12:55. Joseph Aiden arrived at 1:04 a.m. on August 1, 2009. He weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 inches long. My husband and I are so excited he's here. I am really excited because I had a tough pregnancy and was on bed rest for 4 weeks. However, I would do it again in a heartbeat. My husband and I never wanted to know the sex, and we were thrilled to find out it was a boy when he was born early this morning. I am still a little sore, and just relaxing with my husband and newborn at the moment.

Enjoy that new little boy. He will grow quickly. That newborn stage doesn't last long.
You rest up when you can and take good care of yourself. Most of all have fun with that precious baby boy. Congratulations.

Yay congrats. So that's another boy that can be added to the list. I wonder what mine is going to be. There wasn't many of us that were having it as a surprise. So happy for you.
