Im not sure if this will work for you or not but with all my kids I try to lay them down while they are awake so that they get used to falling asleep on their own. It might take awhile but it worked for us. Good luck:-)
Yeah i try to do that but sometimes he falls asleep in his bouncy chair before I get a chance to lay him down in his bed but even if I lay him down awake he still wakes up several times and cries throughout his naps.
I think thats normal. Just try to keep some consistancy and he should be better soon. Some babies just need more movement untill they get older. It will get better:-)
mine kept waking herself in the bassinet. she would grunt and make noises all night long. swaddling solved that problem instantly- wish i had thought of it sooner. they still startle easily at this age, and he may be startling himself awake. with my first, using a simple sleep positioner helped her feel secure- just the cheap ones (under $10) that go along either side of the torso. she liked the feeling of something snug around her.
What kind of sleep positioner did you get?? Where did you get it from??
