Most women start showing at 18-20 wks. Before that it seems that you just look cubby instead of preggo.

I have not gained any weight but my stomach does seem to stick out a bit, I assume this is due to bloating.

I'm not sure as to when you should expect to gain weight / start showing, I suppose it depends on your build / size to start with, I think that the thinner you are, the quicker you'll start to show.

In the books i have been reading they have said that you shouldn't gain very much weight in the first trimester.  That most the weight should be gained in the 2nd and 3rd trimester.  I have not gained any weight either.  I am 6wks 3 days.

I have not gained any weight at this point and I am 7w1d.  I think I've lost a few pounds due to being nauseous almost all day.....  From what I've heard it is normal to lose a few pounds or to gain a few pounds.  Either way the baby will take from you what it needs.

i was overweight before my last pregnancy & my doctor told me i shouldn't gain more than 15lbs!!! i actually only ended up gaining 14lbs - so by the time i left the hospital i weighed LESS than before i got pregnant! Luckily my pregnancy CRAVING is Special K & skim milk (weird, i know) - and i usually have SO much afternoon/evening nausea that my big meal is lunch...despite that they STILL told me I had borderline gestational diabetes last pregnancy - so this time i'm really going to watch my sugar!

Hi there and Congrats! I was just wondering the same thing!?! lol  I think I've actually lost a pound or two. Not because I'm having nausea(morng sickness), but because I'm so scared of ballooning up this time around since I'm starting out a little overweight this time. I've decided NO JUNK FOOD, and I'm only eating what I need to be healthy. I've read a lot about if you're overweight to start, it's actually ok to not gain too much weight, so that's my goal. Good Luck to you!
