Wondering about movement/ 1st pregnancy

Im 16w2d pregnant and i was just wondering when i would be able to feel my baby move? I feel things like a little poke on the inside but it doesnt last but for a little while and usually only when i am sitting still, don't know if its gas or not. Wondering if anyone has anything to tell me about this thanks.

This is my first pregnancy and I am 15 weeks & 1 day. I get cramping on my right side often enough and im also gassy, but last night I THINK I felt movement because it was bubbling under the cramps. Basically, how can I tell the difference between the gas and the baby moving ? Also why does it seem like my stomach is bigger 1 day and smaller the next .. is my baby growing I'm worried

My husband and I can tell that my belly is bigger, but I'm still wearing all my regular clothes and my pants are just beginning to feel tight. Nobody would ever guess I'm pregnant from looking at me. We've taken pictures every month since the 8 week point, with me wearing the same clothes (jeans and a sports bra) in the same position (sideways-facing). The most recent picture was just a couple of days ago and honestly, looking at the photos, my belly doesn't look like it's changed much from 8 wks to 17 wks! One of these days it will, though!!! I got some maternity jeans the other day just in case that day sneaks up on me quickly and I suddenly can't fit into things. :)

I've thought I felt little movements but also not sure if it's my stomach. Seems to be in the right place though. 17 weeks now.

I think I'm showing enough where some strangers can tell, but if I'm wearing a bigger sweater not everyone can tell.  To me and BF I'm showing alot!  Also, this is weird but I noticed if I lean back in the shower (like when rinsing my hair), and then look above my belly I see an oval egg like shape. Things are changing!

I'm 16w1d and i went to the doctors today and when they went to check the babys heartbeat the baby punched or kicked the doppler and i felt it. Every person is different, so you never know.

I think it is normal it is stretching out a lot right now.  Same thing is going on with me, and I get a sharp pain if I move really quick, cough, or sneeze.  I have a doctors appointment next week, but all of my sisters have kids and they says it's normal.

OK - I really wish I were feeling something a bit more like bubbles! But I do think the sensations I'm having are the baby. Every once in awhile it feels like I'm being poked from the inside - right about 4-5 inches below my belly button and sometimes a bit to my right side (I'm just past 17 wks). It's not gas - I've got plenty of that, too, and I know what it feels like. I'm pretty sure it's not my uterus stretching, either, because I've had that happen quite a bit as well. This feels different, but slightly painful, like the little one is poking something really sensitive.

Anyone else have this slightly painful sensation when they first feel the baby?

I would say 18-20 weeks for the 1st pg. This is my 3rd and today I am 15 weeks 2days and I can feel some tickle like a light feather brushing the underside of my stomach. I definitely think its the baby.

with my first i think I was around 16 or 17 weeks when I first started feeling the baby it was more like flutters or bubbles at first (I kept wonderig if it was just my stomach) and then gradually got stronger! I am currently pregnant with my 4th and actually felt the baby twice yesterday and i will only be 14 weeks tomorrow, but i'v already had 3 other pregnancies! Good luck and I'm sure they will get stronger and more pronounced! toward the end of my last pregnancy i wished it was'nt qiute so hard! and the little guy kept pushing his toes in between my ribs! ouch! you'll feel it more soon!

I would describe the feeling as butterflies. It's very light when you first feel it. I was either 15 or 16 weeks when I felt it with my first pregnancy. I think it was about the same for the other pregnancies. I'm sure everyone is different though.

I'm also at 17 weeks with my first, and I can't say that I've felt any movement yet. Whenever I go for a checkup, though, they always say the little one is moving around a lot (because it's hard for them to hear the heartbeat with the Doppler for more than a couple of seconds at a time).

I did feel one distinct pain yesterday in an odd place that *could* have been an extremely well-placed and hard kick to my right belly, but I don't think the little one should be strong enough yet to do that... But who knows?

In any case, I'm also looking forward to feeling it move regularly!

I am 17 weeks today, and I have had what I think may be little movements, but like you I am not sure most say if you think you feel it then it is the baby and it will get stronger in the upcoming weeks.  I had one distictive feeling like a somersalt in my belly on the inside felt like a little pulling.  I am 95% sure it was the baby happend a few days ago.  Everyone tells me with your first child you don't feel it until between 18-20 weeks, if it is not your first you are able to tell what the movements are a little sooner.  This is my first.  Hope we start feeling strong little kicks soon :)
