headaches......I have them daily but I deal with them....Im too afraid to take any medicine like tylanol
The coke would be for the caffeine, so tea with a little bit of caffeine would have the same effect. I have a little rice bag in the freezer i put on my head when i get a migraine. it's cold but not as cold as ice so it feels really nice.
thanks I have trouble drinking soda due to having had gastric bypass surgery in july if this past year but i will try the tea. napping is never an option I am a mom of three and tow are under the age of five hopefully this will pass
peppermint tea tea helps with headaches & nausea also :)
When i was pregnant i would get horrible migraines, my fertility specialist recommended that i have a glass of coke to see if that helped. It did...i ended up having to drink 1 can of regular coke daily. Diet is not good to drink because of the aspertame. A can of coke has 45mg of caffeine, from what ive read and asked my high risk OB under 200 mg is safe. So really, 1 can of coke is way way under what the safe zone is.
Here is a website that i used alot during my pregnancy...it calculates different sodas or chocolate

I agree about the coke. Are you drinking enough water? I often get headaches when I'm borderline dehydrated. Sometimes a nap helps too. I've had some bad ones recently myself and the naps have helped me the most. Feel better!
You could try drinking just a little bit of caffeine. LIke half a can of coke. it won't hurt the baby and may help with your headache.
