Life crumbling!

I'm losing hope fast.. Last night me and hubby were playing video games (he made me) and we heard our car start so we looked out the window and it was gone. So we called the police and reported it stolen. Then my hubby called his boss since we have been making payments on it to buy it off of his girlfriend.  Well turns out his boss came up all the way from south carolina to take the car since we missed a payment on it but that was because we have baby bills to pay but they said it was fine as long as we payed it. Well I guess it's not okay. I don't understand. I'm 36 wks pregnant and they take our source of transportation?? And we had everything in that car. My hubbys wallet with all his credit cards in it and our ipad which we use for work to have a source of income. And it's all gone. And they are refusing to give our stuff back unless we give them 600 dollars.. Random right?? and the cops said what they did was not illegal. So now we have no job, no car, barely any money, sams a baby on the way. What do I do.. Everything is falling apart and we have nothing!! :(

That's what I thought. But the cops  told us that everything in that car basically belongs to the owner  of it. :(

Don't be scared everything will work out.... I live in the US and I was looking into it they can't hold your personal property thats in the car... even a car dealership that repossess a car has to allow you to get your personal property from it.

Did you ask the police if they had to return your property? So much about that just doesn't sound right. Then again, I live in Canada and laws are soo different here. I hope everything gets sorted before your bub arrives. Try as hard as you can not to stress. Its not good for you or baby.

I'm so sorry to hear your drama.
All this stress is not needed at this point in your pregnancy. I'm thinking of you and hope it works out before your little one comes.
Stay safe.

*hugs* the most I can do is pray for you, but you should be able to get your stuff out of the car since that is not their property you can sue them for theft on that. It was crappy what they did and it isn't right
