Spotting during week 7..

I am 7 weeks pregnant and today I noticed I was spotting some light colored brownish blood.. i have not spotted or bled at all since I found out.. Should I be worried.. Could this be a sign of a possible miscarraige?

Amy, I completely agree. I work on a women's & children's health unit and spotting is common. If you start getting cramps, doubling over cramps, then start to worry, and heavy or bright red bleeding...go to the er or call your doc...best of luck!!

Spotting in early pregnancy is very common. The only time there's reason to cause concern is if its really heavy (like a period or more) if there's clots or if you're having severe cramping. You can always go to your Dr or the ER for reassurance though. Best wishes

spotting in pregnancy is not normal & it indicates that you have to undergo certain tests  to be sure that all is fine & in addition you should avoid exertion & sex. It could be a sign of miscarriage, but  at this stage of pregnancy only tests can tell the truth. Best wishes.
