Really worried please help!

So my baby was doing great right before we left the hospital crying real loud and everything now that she's home all she has done is sleep and when she cries nothing but a high pitch noise comes out and she also keeps randomly jerking! Is she okay? I'm really worried what should I do??? Please help!

Are you breastfeeding her? If so breast fed baby's poop isn't hard like formula fed babies and their poop is seedy looking. It's normal for the breast fed.

Newborn babies are kind of jerky they aren't used to all of the outside space. You could try swaddling to help. Newborns do sleep a lot. They need the energy to grow.

It's normal to worry a whole lot in the first month I visited the pediatricians office at least 1-2 times a week and the baby slept in a bassinet directly beside me with my hand touching him to make sure he was breathing.

As for the high pitch scream I'm not sure of it could just be the way your baby cries or is saying I'm wet stinky or hungry.

Are you breastfeeding? Breastfed babies normal poo is mostly liquid and yellow in color, or it can have a seedy appearance. If formula fed its probably just her stomach getting used to it.

Ok if its like a falling dream thats pretty normal too, are you breastfeeding?  There poop can almost have a curdled milk look in it cause it moves so fast through the body.  I dont know about formula because I never used it.

Try swaddling her a little tighter. Some babies jerk because they aren't used to having all that space. My godson used to jerk so hard we had to strap him down even in his crib because he would hit himself with his arms and the doc just suggested to swaddle him for longer. Some babies don't always feel the need to cry, and I think that comes off as more as a bonus for you because you take good care of them they don't need to wail. However if she seems to be having trouble breathing definitely go take her in, it could be the opposite of what I suggested and maybe she just gets so.worked up her vocal chords constrict. Give it a couple days and if it still worries you get her checked out.

Newborns have a tendency to kinda jump where they will throw their arms up or suddenly kick their legs. Its just their startle reflex and its something that they will do less and less as they get older.

Sleeping a ton is normal, but I would be a little worried about the jerking, and not being able to cry, what is the jerking like?  Like shes having a falling dream and jumps, or like twitching?
