18 and pregnant... need advice.

Hi everyone. I'm super new to this... I just found out yesterday and confirmed with my doctor that I'm pregnant estimated about 5 weeks... however I had no clue I was pregnant I was rescently treated with an antibiotic which is why I thought my period was late... I have been super tired lately and kinda bloated but most of my "symptoms" are close to pms symptoms... I could really use some advice... I'm so scared of a miscarriage... sorry if this sounds stupid... just looking for advice. Thanks ladies.

Do you have the What to Expect When You're Expecting book? I had it with my son and learned a lot! It's nice to read ahead and know what to "expect!" Saved me from a lot of anxiety.

Hello and welcome to the community. First time pregnancies definitely are a mix of emotions. I was in shock when were pregnant even though it was planned. We are also nervous about miscarriage. I took my wife to the erjust the other day due to some bleeding and come to find out she was fine. We even got to see our little one. At only seven weeks though you couldnt see anymore than a flickering heartbeat.

Hey, if the doctor that confirmed your pregnancy knew you were on those antibiotics, they probably would have taken you off them if they thought that it would cause any harm to your baby. But if your still unsure you can call your docs nurse and ask. She will either tell you or ask your doc and call you back. Also early pregnancy symptoms are often similar to PMS symptoms, so no worries there! Btw im 20 :) i'll be 8 weeks on saturday. I wish you the best with your pregnancy!!
