I had to have a C section last time due to finding out at 38wks my daughter Was breech. I had a home water birth planned! Just wanted to say that it was not as bad as I imagined and recovery is what u make it, if you are a get up and go type your recovery will be quick (though obviously don't overdo it!) I don't remember being in pain and I was up and about properly after 3 days :-) there are perks too, you bleed less afterwards and u get time to groom and do your make up beforehand haha, enjoy your little bundle! I'm hoping for a Vbac this time, fingers crossed!
I'm having a c section on the 30th. My boy is breech and I just want him out Hes due the 6th but I get to see him a week early regardless its a section I'll have my baby to hold!!!!
The c-section is about you and, most importantly, your baby and bringing him/her into this world in the safest possible way. And, assuming your family loves you, they 'll just want what is best for you both too, which is in this case a c-section. You're not any less because you can't deliver naturally (this time), and be happy it is planned: you'll get to be consious and get your baby with you faster etc. You still carried the baby all these months, and created this little person that will bring joy to everyones life. You already did the most miraculous thing anyone can do in a life. The recovery time is longer, yes, but won't the rest of your family be willing to help?
If i were you, i would talk to my partner and mother about these feelings, i'm sure they can make you feel better.
