Lol. You guys are hilarious!!! I took the Ambien, everything went fine. I wish I could sacrifice sleep, but the way my career is set up!!! (I work in Financial services). So dealing with funds while sleep is not how I keep my bills paid!!! Thanks for the advice ladies!!! :-)
My OB wanted me to take ambien too. I told him I'd rather just take benadryl because everyone I know who's taken ambien tells me crazy stories like that they drove to Wal-Mart or tried to pluck their eyebrows and didn't remember doing any of it lol
Mine told me benadryl or ambien as well, and for me if I don't get enough sleep my anxiety jumps through the roof, so I took a small dose of benadryl both times I needed help sleeping to keep my sanity for the baby
I can understand not taking Advil or Aleve because they have blood thinners in them, but my hospital gives Tylenol when you need pain meds and all my docs say Tylenol is okay. I know every doctor is different but I trust mine.
My sciatica Had me in so much pain. I went to the hospital and they told me to take Tylenol. I looked at that doctor like bish what lol. Guess what I'm still in pain and refused to take anything. Also I haven't been to sleep correctly in weeks and I'm 36 week's. Everyone is different Im not gonna take any medication but if you need to I think you should . Best of luck honey (:
On this very website says is not recomended to take aleve and tylenol, i wouldnt take any drug that is unnecessary girls, ambien has so many side affect it can be bad for baby, u are almost due why not just sacrifice a little sleep for these last days of pregnancy, wish you good luck
They wouldn't prescribe you something unless they felt the benefits outweigh the risks. Maybe Ambien isn't safe earlier in pregnancy while certain systems are developing but becomes safer later on?
Right!! I was saying the same thing. I was told by the same doc to take Tylenol PM earlier in my pregnancy, but today (at 37 weeks) she prescribed me Ambien!
Didn't know that was a option. My doc told me to take Tylenol pm or benadryl
