Thanks ladies for the help. I try talking to my husband about it but he goes off on another topic. I can tell he's stressed out also and it's kind of affecting him at work. He just wants the baby to be here :/.
I'm having a scheduled c section on the 4th and I'm actually not that nervous. For me it seems like the closer it gets it feels further away and almost not real. Whenever my mind does get anxious I just take a warm bath and have some decaf tea or talk to my boyfriend about it. I try to embrace the days I have left of feeling her wiggle in my belly because as uncomfortable as it is sometimes I know I will miss the feeling. And whenever I get nervous about being a mom or labor I just try to remember women have been doing it since the beginning of time.
Honestly it may not sound ideal at first but I felt the same way with my first pregnancy and I took a walk when I needed to relax. Walk can be outside or even looking around at local retailer.
Also another amazing thing is to listen to music with the baby, yes I know your preggo still, but use the time to connect with the life growing inside. Read books aloud to allow baby to be soothed by your voice when you embrace him or her for the first time, the bonding can be fun relaxing and begins now.
Congratulations on your soon to be mommy hood!
Great question!
