I just bought a couple pairs of yoga pants a size or two bigger. My belly hasn't gotten bigger but it has gotten harder so it's not as pliable as before. Maternity clothes are expensive and if you buy them now you will have to buy them again later in pregnancy. The stretchy pants will also work great after the baby cause the weight doesn't go away instantly. At least that's my thought.

I am now 11 weeks and have already had to get new pants. I can't fit in any of my old ones at all. I Have not gained more than 5 lbs but with a tight budget and this cold weather PJs, sweats, and leggings are my best friends.

I'm planning on getting maternity jeans tomorrow. I've actually lost 3 pounds but none of my pants fit. I'm duo uncomfortable in everything except sweats. Ugh! With my first pregnancy I didn't have to wear maternity until I was like 6 months

I'm the same just want comfort. Read that you should go up and extra size and to go with dark colours as it's more slimming

I am planning on getting maternity pants this weekend. I am not showing but I am bloated and regular pants are uncomfortable. I wore leggings to work today because jeans are uncomfortable. Oh I am 11 weeks on Sunday.

Hi guys. I'm just wondering what's the approach with maternity wear. If your a size 10, is that the size you get or do you go up a size?

My husband took me maternity a few days ago when he saw how uncomfortable I was sitting down in my jeans.  I'm showing at 9w5d AND I'm bloated, so even though I have lost 10 lbs in the first trimester (due to morning sickness), none of my pants fit.  I already had bought new, bigger bras because my boobs hurt so much.

Move into maternity pants as soon as you feel the pressure of your waistband.  Maternity pants are SO comfortable.  :-)

I'm 9 wks and have been feeling really bloated for a few weeks now. I don't need bigger clothes yet but I'm just going to buy as I go to make sure I'm getting the right sizes. And I'm not buying a ton of clothes since I will only b pregnant for a short period of time. I made that mistake with my first pregnancy.
