Emily born 8/8/15 7lbs 11oz of love

I was 40 weeks 5days scheduled for induction for 8/9 . I had been dilated at 2 since 37 weeks one fail membrain sweep at the end and no baby on my due date doctor decided to induce. On Saturday morning i started to get cantractions i asked my husband to fill the tube so i could relax and if they wasn't the real thing  they would go away. After a while my contractions were every 8 minutes and didn't go away with the bath. I hopped out and did laundry and a few things and contractions kept going now every 5 minutes. We decided to head over to the hospital 30 minutes away and contractions were still every 5 minutes. Once at the hospital my contractions came every 10 minutes disappointed that they had gotten far apart I still registered in labor and delivery. They monitored me or 20 minutes and  contraction stoped I was so upset because they stopped i thought it was false labor again. The nurse came in to see how dilated I was and all she said was "oh, no we can't let you go your 6 centimeters." So a cuple hours of walking in my room no contractions i was checked and a membrane sweep was done that gave me 3 big contractions and then they stoped AGAIN. time later they started me on pitocin and when I was dilated to an 8 got an epidural doctor came in to break my water and by this time with the pitocin I started getting a little bit of contractions. Now 10 centimeters and 3 big pushes baby  Emily was born 7 pounds 11 ounces of love♡♡♡ now a proud mama of 3♡♡♡ btw i thiught i had lost my mucus plug in pieces but it must of just been discharge because i lost mucus plug that very morning befor my bath. @Mimilove3 - Wishing you the same. :) My boy is still at the NICU though for a few more days. We had a rough delivery together. Lol. I'm hoping that we get to take him home before this week is over.

Congratulations! My boy (Andrew) was born on 08/08 as well. 7lbs12oz of happiness! :) I was 2 days overdue before he decided to come out. Lol
