He's here! - Labor story
Saturday night my parents took my out to the movies as a last hurrah before baby gets here. Halfway through the movie my back starts feeling really weird and tight,but I didn't say anything cuz I didn't want to ruin our time out. By the time they dropped me off at my house I had warned them that it might be hospital time soon. I bounced around on the yoga ball for about an hour. At that point my contractions in my stomach averaged 8 minutes apart but the pain in my back was never ending and getting pretty unbearable. So I headed over to the hospital. They were packed! I had to wait for what felt like forever (45 minutes) to get into triage, where they then admitted me right away because when they checked I was already dilated 6cms! (2:30 am)I decided to take the epidural because it made my last labor more enjoyable and I do not regret it one bit. The nurses kept joking with me that I must not be in labor because I was too pleasant. By 9 am I was ready to push but he was facing the wrong way (hence the back labor) so he wasn't coming out as fast as we liked. But at 10:04 Christopher Ralph was born 8 lbs 11oz
Thank you all!! We are home and resting now :) Christopher has slight jaundice so have to go back to the hospital in the morning for more blood work to keep an eye on it. But otherwise doing great!
l am glad to hear that u had baby. My original due date was today but doctors decided for him to come July 30th cb of blood pressure. Congrats!

I was 39+6! It really was a great experience I don't think I could have done anything differently to make it better.
Congrats Mama! That sounds like a wonderful birth experience. Im glad it went of without a hitch for you and baby Christopher Ralph! :) How far along did you make it ? I know youve been waiting!
