High Sugar level
Hi all, I went for glucose test(GTT) and later in the day the midwife call to say is high and that the will ring me back next week to advice me on what to do, pls, I need advice on this because I am very scared .
Thnks Roby, dey took my blood before drinking the lucozade and 1 hour later dey took another blood and 2 hours again dey took the last one , the midwife called me dat same day to inform me dat my first blood test before drinking the glucose was a bit high. So wat does dat means please.
Did you get the 1 hour or 3 hour test? Nothing to be afraid of... they are just making sure you dont have gestational diabetes. If the level were high during the 1 hour, then they will send you back for the 3. Same thing happened to me... but i passed the 3 hour and thats the one that counts
