I have like a frappe a day almost lol I did with my first daughter too. Im 32 weeks and have no health problems. I have also had a few glasses of wine this pregnancy.
My doc said up to 200mg on caffeine a day is considered safe. That's a large coffee from Tim Horton's. I would check the nutrional info at Starbucks to see the caffeine amount and then decide. I'm sure one won't hurt at any rate. I drink coffee most days and haven't had any issues. I actually just stopped because it's giving me heartburn.
I drink a cup of coffee every day. I have no health problems. People become much more relaxed about food restrictions after the first pregnancy. Enjoy yourself. Some people even drink half servings of wine in the late months.
I used to work at Starbucks and you can still get a frappe just get a cream based one (it doesn't include the frapp roast). They're gonna add the cream base (syrup) (since it's a cream frappe) but you can ask them to use the coffee (flavored) syrup base instead.
My doctor told me it's okay to have one coffee a day, if that's the only caffeine.
I was very strict the first half of pregnancy and they told me to chill out and that it was perfectly fine. :/
There is very little caffeine in a frappuccino even the decaf ones are ok to drink. If it makes you feel better you can get one and just ask for no coffee in it
I agree the amount of caffeine is very small. I got then a few times throughout my pregnancy.
Your baby will be fine it's mostly just sugar not caffeine.
I was a manager at Starbucks. Do not get decaf because then they will put a decaf shot of esspresso in there. Because frapps are made with "frap roast". The cafffine content is very small and the decaf will have a little more or the same amount of cafine as the frapp roast. You could drink a frapp a day and be fine! The cafine is low. Just tons of sugar.
I've had a few fraps throughout my pregnancy and baby is fine. Honestly the amount of caffeine in those is so small that it won't harm baby at all. Caffeine is allowed during pregnancy just not.in massive amounts.
I think it won't hurt when you'll only take a tall size, decaf, non fat (without whip for less fat) once in a while. We are allowed to take in a few ounces of caffeine a day and making it decaf will decrease the caffeine content. :)
Ughh omg you and me both I've been wanting one so bad im 35 weeks myself due August 6th and I've been fighting it even trying things that may taste similar but nothing works so I told my boyfriend after I have the baby I want him headed to Starbucks right after I just keep telling myself it's not good for baby it's not good for baby but my doctor also told me Fraps are one of the worst sources to consum caffeine but I also know ppl that have had them but I just decided to wait.
