Labor story

Harrison Michael Donovan was born Aug. 21st 2015 at 825 am. 40 weeks plus 5 days. 7lbs 6ozs.19 inches. Contractions started around supper time on the 20th . Started off mild and as usual progressively got worse. Tried to sleep or at least lay down and rest around 12 midnight but that wasnt happening. By 5 am we were was ready to attempt the drive to the hospital.  Ftm so really wasnt sure i would be admitted but was now willing to take the chance. ..holy good call...water broke on drive ...as well found out my little munchkin had pooped when it happened :( . Yup im now in full labor. After getting poked and prodded i was 6 cms dilated but baby was breach...time for emergency c section....wow that was fast..here he comes . Healthy and happy . Was glad i got to experience full labor but without the deleivery...csection recovery will be longer but made my deleivery safe for me and harrison so i wouldnt have it any other way. Still in hospital now..breastfeeding is a little tricky for.me and my man but we are getting the hang of it and last night my incision exploded....well tgats what it looked like with all the blood that gushed out..but they say it was ok and it was old blood and it stopped now...but holy scary...wish us luck with the rest of our stay. Hope everyone else is doing great.
