Looking for support during a difficult time

YesterdayI gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. He weighs 5.6 pounds, and measured 19 inches. However, my water broke the day before yesterday at 7:30pm, and he didn't arrive until 6:04pm yesterday. So they have him in the constant care. I can't lactate him like I originally planned until my husband goes to buy a manual breast pump because they can only feed him my expressed milk. The hospital doesn't provide breast pumps.

I can also only see my baby at certain visiting hours, instead of having him in my room with me as I had originally planned. I'm just so sad, I feel as if this entire mess were all my fault.

Cordelia I'm so sorry you are going through this difficult time. I prayed for you and baby the moment I read this. Just know God is good and im praying on it. PLEASE dont blame yourself this is not your fault. Is there any way you can go on social media and possible find a kind soul that could get a electric beast pump to you? It is worth a try for sure! I have one I would so gladly give you but I'm sure you are a thousand miles away from me. There are good poeple out there I know that would do this for you and your precious baby. I find it crazy that hospital's do not keep these on hand for reasons like this.
What is your baby boys name?
