Hi!  I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my first  child. My husband and I are extremely excited for this new chapter in our lives. Any recommendations on how to help ease nausea? I've been experiencing this for a little over a week now. I have a appetite most of the time, but I get nautious after eating.  I even go through most of the day feeling nautious. I'm hoping this won't be a long battle.

Peppermint helps, I have the York patties, peppermint mints, and peppermint tea. Also I have another tea that is a special blend. I was only nauseous when I didn't take my special tea, and the other peppermint items helped a lot.

my nausea comes and goes!  what's helped for me is
- ginger candies (not the best but it helps)
- lemonhead candies (helps!)
- thick chocolate milk in the morning (sips)
- going through a list of foods in my head...if it feels good I eat it!  it usually makes me feel so much better.  lately it's been sandwiches, ravioli, soup, hummus, etc...

good luck!  also, get lots of sleep.  I find that when I have to wake up early or didn't get enough sleep at all I would be so nauseous all day
