Yuck. Me too. Especially chicken... super gross right now!!!
I'm having some of the same issues. I cannot go near the mitchen when meat is being cooked and everything tastes funny.
I have had issues with meat. I cannot stand the smell of it cooking and it just doesn't taste right.
Spinach is a great source of iron, it is a myth that you can only get iron from meat :)
I've become reliant on HUMMUS. Great source of protein, and meatless. I'm having a similar issue. I'm 8 weeks and I feel my little nugget is not a fan of meat. S/he let's me maybe have a bite or two and then I either throw up or dry heave. I've learned to avoid meat. I've lost 8 lbs though. Luckily, I'm a heavier girl, so 8 lbs is NOTHING, though all of my friends are noticing my thinner face and asking me how I'm doing it. Oye! It's the morning sickness diet!
OK, so Kashi has a protein calculator. You just enter your weight and it tells you how many grams you need per day. For example I weigh 140ish so I need 51 grams.
Can you stand peanut butter or almond butter maybe with honey as a dip for apples?
Maybe some tofu in veggie broth?
Springrolls with peanut sauce?
There is a formula based on weight for how much protein that you need per day..let me see if I can find it and post it for you...
Beans and legumes are a great source of protein
