Need validation

Hi mamas! I need your advice! I'm currently 20 weeks with boy/girl twins. I am considering starting maternity leave the last week in May. I am already so tired, sore, crampy, and just overall uncomfortable. Im also having trouble sleeping and I can barely make it through my shifts as it is. I currently work 2 jobs and just need the validation that it's ok for me to listen to my body and go on maternity leave early. I want these babies to be healthy and I want to carry them as long as I can. Am I being selfish, or is this a legitimate reason to go on leave? HELP!

Thank you, ladies. I can't tell you how much your kind words mean. I have been so wrapped up in feeling like I need justification, and now I realize that I absolutely do not need to justify this. My health and the health of my babies is most important. Thank you for responding when I needed it most. I appreciate it!

you should listen to your body& what it's telling you. don't worry about what people have to say or worrying about leaving to early. I'm only 22 weeks& the pregnancy I'm having & the stress level at work whewww. I wanna quit sometimes lol

Of course it's a valid reason. Being pregnant with 1 baby is tiring enough but twins it most be even more so. You would be selfish not to listen to your body & put those little treasures first.
