My boyfriend is planning to get a vasectomy after this one, so hopefully I just won't need anything. I'm not a fan of anything messing with my hormones or health (unnaturally, not including baby, of course). This will be his third and my first and we're both perfectly happy with those numbers!

If you plan on breastfeeding anything with estrogen could cause your milk supply to diminish...progesterone won't contribute to supply problems...not sure if any of the hormone passes through milk but your body naturally produces estrogen and progesterone anyway so either way your milk will probably not be hormone free

Won't be going on any birth control after my baby is born :) .. Just won't have sex without a condom and will be checking all time for holes before/after sex lol.. Had the implant in my arm and it was terrible! Had the pill and it made me put a huge amount of weight on! So no bc for me!:)
Boyfriend wants more baby's after baby#2 is born!

I've been looking into my options, but does anyone know how merena or other options will affect milk production if im hoping to breastfeed? I know with my last baby, the doctor put me on the mini pill, but I'm terrible at remembering to take a pill everyday and would prefer a different route.

Funny cause I never had to think about this. But I do know I don't plan on having anymore especiallk now that I am having twins. I spent 12 years with a girl and these last 4 with a guy and this whole time we've been trying to get pregnant. I hate any medication that goes into my body. But I guess I'll better start thinking about it real soon. Thanks for all the info about the different ones. But then again I'll talk with the hubby and see what he say. Good luck ladies.

Hormonal based BC make me a NUTCASE.  So weve used condoms and calendar for the past 9 years.  This is baby #4 for us, and I'm thinking hubby will get the snip snip next. Done and done.

Hello, Im Weezy and im 14 weeks. Anyways, I will most likely be getting on the depo shot. I've had it before and loved it. I know some women say they don't want it because you may gain weight, but I never lost or gained any. Also it stopped my periods which is nice ,and also (normal). I'm going to look into more but I believe that's best for me.:)

Mini pill. Implant gave me weeks and weeks of spotting and horror stories of the IUD scared me so I won't go back to that.
