Baby Shower

Hi ladies. So, I really want to have a baby shower and need one considering I'm having a girl and everything I still have from my first is boy stuff. Anyway, noone has mentioned throwing me one and I'm om with that, I know people are busy and have their own lives. My question is it considered rude to throw my own baby shower? What do you ladies think?

That's kinda how I feel. I can do it my way and plus it'll be less stress for everyone else. But I'm still tossing around the idea. Who knows, someone might be planning something and I just don't know about it yet.

It's not rude, I'm throwing my own baby shower too. My 2 first were surprises and it was all drama...this time is my way

Well I like having say so too but I don't want people to think I'm being rude or self indulgent.
