Any other Vegan MaMa's on here?

So if there are any other vegan mommies on here that would be awesome. It would be great to vent about people who give us a hard time about being vegan while pregnant. So many people try to tell me I need animal products but I don't. As long as I have done my research and take my vitamins, they should just leave me alone. So if there are any pther vegan moms, what do you crave and how do you handle rude people?

Yeah, it does taste good but I just care to much about the animals haha. I know it might be hard for them when they are young because other kids might give them a hard time butI I will try to teach them what other people think doesnt matter (although it may seem like it at that age). Ibewiththischild, you could totally do it. Its actually not too difficult,  especially if you start out vegetarian haha but to each their own :) as long as we are healthy for our little babies!

Meat is definitely tasty, but it's not good for you. Most of my friends who don't eat it say they feel much better than when they did.

I understand what you mean Veganmama. I'm just worried about my baby feeling like an outcast at social events. I am working on cutting down meat consumption myself. That's a great idea not buying any dairy or meat, but let them eat it elsewhere. Great advice! Thanks (:

Well I'm planning on raising my baby to be vegan (breast milk is vegan because its made for humans, in case you're wondering). I will do my best to teach my child about why I am vegan but when it comes to birthday parties, I will let them try so they can make up their own mind. I won't be buying animal products but they are free to eat them elsewhere if they like. If my kids decide to eat meat, thats ok, I just want to educate them on factory farming, in a more friendly and less graphic way of course.

I'm not a vegan, but have a question for you.  My boyfriend is vegan and wants our baby to be atleast vegetarian. I feel that the baby should choose when he or she is old enough. Will your baby be vegan? How do you plan on handling stuff like ice cream parties at school and birthdays.
