Im about to be 8 weeks & ive been starting to get really bad nausea. I'm hungry all the time but I choose not to eat. & whenever I do I have a hard time keeping it down. Any advice or remedies to help with the nausea?

I am almost 12 weeks and been VERY nauseous since about 6 weeks.   The doctor gave me a prescription but its not a 100% cure.  Im not throwing up but still so sick...to the point i haven't worked in over a month and barely get off the couch.  Keep eating even if it a small amount ans eat every couple hours.  Its better with a bit of food in the belly...keep crackers at arms length so when u get a moment that its not terrible u can stuff some in your mouth.

Im counting the days till this passes....i feel for all moms to be out there suffering

Hi. I am at week 8 too. I feel nausea since week 6. And I found that eating raisins and snacking on wheatmeal biscuits or crackers help to combat that feeling. My nause comes with a headache. Does yours too? I usually rub some hot ointment on the temples so I feel better. Hope you feel better, dear.

I was sooo sick in my first couple weeks I was in and out of urgent care. Finally called ob and he prescribed diclegis as a preventative and Zofran for if and when I am actually throwing up but the diclegis alone helped sooo much. My best bet would be consult dr and bring up those two medicines. And I know food seems unsettling but you have to keep something in your belly. You have to remember your not just eating for you, your eating for the baby. Ginger ale helps, plain white bread, saltines, regular pretzels actually taste good. Plain ruffles chips. Something is better then nothing though. Salt keeps the stomach with something to absorb otherwise you feel more sick when it's empty. Hope something outta this helps.

Half a B6 vitamin and half a unisom twice a day helped me tremendously.

The pregnancy pops (and other ice cream like it) helped me a lot. Also, i tried the Seabands (acupressure wrist band) and they seemed to help. It could be a placebo effect but hey, i dont care as long as im not throwing up as much.
