Yeast infection?

Has anyone had a yeast infection before? I'm 35 weeks and I'm dealing with a yeast infection right now. I'm treating it with a cream that my doctor prescribed me, but I've been getting a pink discharge after I wipe myself, well everytime I put on the cream. Can it be the cream that's causing the pink discharge? Im so lost this is my first pregnancy and this is the first time that I've gotten a yeast infection.

I've had an infection a few times, and i can't remember pink discharge when using a cream. I don't think it's normal to get a pink discharge. Unless the cream is pink, it seems you're bleeding a bit. Best call your doctor about it to make sure it's ok to keep using this cream. It can be an overly sensitive reaction to the cream, or the infection might be so bad your skin is damaged or something alike (don't stop using the cream unless doc says so tho). Unless you lose blood non stop, or big amounts, there's no need to panic and a simple call should be fine.

Also a tip when you have a yeast infection: cut down on sugar (or eliminate it from your diet alltogether), at least until you're clear of the infection. Yeasts feed on sugar and can make recovery harder, and make you more vulnerable to new infections. Fruit is safe btw.
