acid reflux

Hello I'm 36 weeks and I have acid reflux so so bad it's making me miserable, I have it all day and night every day is there anything I can take for it I don't go to my doctor until Tuesday and I can't stand it anymore

I eat about 12 tums a day and my calcium is still low lol

Tums and milk works and after u eat do not lay down for thirty minutes

Stay away from peppermint it'll relax your esophageal sphincter and make the reflux worse

Thank you so much ladies definitely gonna try your recommendations my husband gets paid today so I'm gonna go get zantac tums prilosec lol anything to possibly help its only getting worse by the day, and I will try to take a look at my diet and figure out what could be causing it once again, thank you so much :)

I'm suffering from the same thing its horrible :(. I take prilosec and it really helps hope you get some relief mama.

suck on a peppermint ! tastes good and helps you breathe and open up your chest ! I don't have heart burn I have indigestion and peppermint are a life saver literally

For me it helped a lot to take some things of my menu. For me it was whole grain bread and muesli, strawberries, onions, garlic, very spicy fooods... I think it's very personal which foods give you acid reflux, but if you have it so bad, it might be worth trying to figure out which foods you react badly to.

I agree with the Zantac recommendation.  It's a wonder drug.

Tums usually works for me! Or a glass of milk too sometimes helps..
