How did your doctor check to see what position your baby is in? I just had my 28th week appt and my doctor didn't check at all.

My son was breeched almost my entire last pregnancy and he flipped at 36 weeks so it can happen. Although he flipped again to the traverse position later on. My baby girl at my 22 week ultrasound was traverse and during the ultrasound flipped to the breech position & thats how she currently is at 26 weeks.

I have the same thing with my little boy. I'm 28 weeks on Sunday, but based on where i feel his kicks, his position hasn't changed since last sono.

I researched a bit, since i was a breech myself (i was born butt first), and i read for 1st child they'd do a c-section if he doesn't turn. I don't rememember exact numbers, but most babies will turn on their own, and it can be up to right before birth. Only 4% or so doesn't. So chances are big he'll still turn.

And if he doesn't, tho i prefer natural birth, c-section isn't the end of the world either, i guess.
