Just FYI when you do kick counts it's not that baby should move 10 times every hour. It's baby should move at least 10 times in an hour when you are doing kick counts. Babies sleep 14+ hours a day so they are not going to be active every hour. Kick counts begin at 28 weeks and if you aren't feeling daily movement at that point you should be doing kick counts and call dr if anything seems off.
I'm almost 27 weeks now, but i noticed at about 24 weeks that baby basically stopped moving. Only a little bit here or there for a week, which wasn't "normal." last week baby started moving like crazy again...
I'm 24 wks (with a boy) and have been experiencing less movement now as well. I find myself waiting to feel movement just to feel normal again.
Babies have their own wake and rest cycles and soon you will be accustomed to your little ones, you just have to pay a little extra attention. I was just in the hospital and they told me for 25 weeks you should feel at least 6 movements in 2 hours. But that could be because I'm on my third pregnancy and have been feeling him regularly since 17 weeks. There are so many factors when it comes to baby's movements so I don't think you should be worried, but if you can't help it than it doesn't hurt to go get checked out.
I am In the same situation I am 25 weeks but you don't count movement until 28 weeks so I am hoping by them by little guy won't make me worry too much when I turn 28 weeks
