I just had a c section 2 weeks ago tomorrow. My milk didn't come in until the day I left the hospital (3 days old) which is normal! It will come in the same as a natural birth so don't stress it!

I had to latch on my baby  2-3hr during daytime, nighttime i could leave inbetween 4 (no less than 2hr in between, no more than 4hr all day, minimum 8 feeds/day), for 20 min on each breast every time. My boy asked for my breast every 2hrs in the beginning, very exhausting. But it's this that get's breastfeeding going. After a few days your 'real' milk comes in (yay! gigantic sore boobs lol)(first days it's collostrum), and then you can follow your baby's rythm better. So basicly breastfeeding is a cooperation between baby and mother.

You can latch baby on he or she will be drinking colostrum first it might take a day or two for your milk to come in but that is normal just keep nursing your baby :)

Woops!  Sorry for that post! Ur milk will come in the same-i believe ur body waits for placenta to b expelled so theres no difference there.  And don't worry about the surgery.  It's over before u know it and then you'll have ur prize in ur arms!  I've had 2 myself
