Not at all. Most women only feel their baby move around 20 weeks, especially for the 1st pregnancy. I'm near 17 weeks also and can't feel him move. Most women around look at me weird when i say i try feel him move, they say it's way to early! I just can't wait lol Just had my 16 week checkup and every thing was good so.

No, I felt my baby girl moved when I was 22 weeks pregnant. It's hard to tell when you are FTM. Don't worry! :)

My best friend is an ultra sound tech and my placenta is lining the front of my stomach. She said this is good but it'll probably be a little bit before I can feel my little one move. She said this is normal and not to worry.

I am 16 weeks. I feel it only if i lay on my back with my hand laying on my belly.  If it is very quiet in the room i can feel those super tiny moves. Try that. You can barely tell if it's moves or something... because the baby is very small yet.

This was helpful. Are any of you women not showing yet ? I asked my doctor he said I should start showing at 20 weeks . I find out my baby gender a day before so I hope I start showing soon.
