I have only bought 2 boxes of nappies, 2 different sizes. Once I I know they are ok for my baby I will then buy in bulk.
If you find a good deal stock up...most stores have a very forgiving policy on unopened diaper returns or exchanges...without the receipts...as long as they carry that brand/count...that also goes for baby items in general so if you get too much of something at your baby shower as long as they carry the item target will give you store credit even without a gift receipt
I wouldn't buy to many, your baby could be allergic to a certain brand or skip a size or what not. that's what I'm worried about
I have about 800 diapers already. About 200 newborn (probably won't use that much but they were given to me), about 350 size 1s and the rest are 2s. I'll be buying another big box of 1s (252 count). And I'll be buying a lot more 2s. I have a 10 month old and feel she was in 2s the longest.
I know I had tons of diapers with my son. I don't think I bought diapers till he was at least 1. I agree maybe one box of newborn and then 2 or 3 of size 1 and 2.
I've been meaning to do this as well. I have 2 previous kids but I can't remeber how long I used each size diaper lol. I think maybe I'll just buy a box of newborn to start then at least 2 or 3 boxes of size one, then one of each of the next size up... I like to shop at the bulk goods stores like costco & sams club so I was planning on having a box each time I go there for other things
