one and done

DH and I have been discussing this being our one and only child. I'm not completely sold on it yet though. Thoughts and opinions? Anyone else considering only one kid?

That's kind if what we were debating. We want to be able to give the kid more than just what they need... be in sports, nice clothes, etc. MIL was widowed at 26 with three kids and so DH grew up very, very poor.

I've been thinking about it,  I'm so afraid of costs etc, it's something that has been on my mind for a while
