Wish I was 12 weeks already !

FTM and I'm only 7 weeks 5 days and I wish I could go for a scan to see my lo but in  Scotland  the first scan is at 12 weeks but it seems so far away.

I just want to make sure everything is going well and to see the baby so I know it's really happening, I know waiting longer will give me a better chance to see my lo

I don't get to see or hear my baby till much after 12 wks due to trying to get on insurance.... Grrrr I really wish I could move things along faster!! I think I won't b in so much disbelief till after I get to hear/see the baby. I'm almost 9 wks and def will have to wait another month and a half at the least :(

The nice thing about waiting is that you will get to hear the heartbeat at your first scan.  I had an early scan (7w2d) in order to make sure the pregnancy was viable because I've lost a baby and been under the care of specialists.  It was nice to see the baby, but it just looked like a little blob.  I am 9 weeks now, and around 10 weeks I go in for my next scan and I'm excited for the heartbeat and a baby that LOOKS LIKE  a baby.  :-).
