stripped membranes?

I'm 39 weeks, 3 centimeters and got my membranes stripped.  Has anyone else had that happen and gone into labor shortly after?  Does it help?

I had mine ddone this friday went into labor on saturday only 3hours of full labor and my babygirl was born :)

I also had mines done on Tuesday I only felt pressure in my vagina and a little cramps..I bleed and started loosing my plug that's it I am due today and no signs of labor...I was 2cm dialated

Had mine done Wednesday and no labor yet

I am the same as you I had mine done wednesday and it didnt help me :( hope it works for you. I cramped for awhile but that was it.
