the day I dreaded has arrived

I read stories of it happening and I thought, no, not me. But here I am a FTM learning that we will all go through discomfort in experiencing the most magical part of our lives as mothers. Today I peed myself. Twice. There were no warning signs or sensations, it just slipped out. Time in invest in panty liners and extras to bring to work along with clean panties. Dignity officially stripped.

I peed in my sleep. I had a dream I was on the toilet and woke up and sure enough I peed myself. I always get really thirsty before bed or get up in the middle of the night to drink something. I probably should stop doing that. Thank god when I told my husband he tried to convince me it was only a little bit and it's no big deal. I was the one that couldn't stop laughing about it. That's been my only accident so far. Crossing my fingers.

For now i just had a few drops escape when i sneeze, or get to the toilet a bit late (i go from not having to go to extremely urgent in a few seconds). I m using panty liners, but after these reports, i think i'm getting one of those matress protectors to put under me when i sleep lol. Just trying to think of a more  'elegant' way to protect the couch. Perhaps put a pretty towel underneath me?

Bless your heart! May it comfort you to know that you certainly are not alone! Last week I had to vomit and I ended up peeing ALL OVER myself, drenching my clothes. My hubby is such a trooper and put my pee pants and panties, dripping wet, into the wash lol. He even promised me to never make fun of me, but I actually find it hilarious. Just call me "Puddles" lmao

My husband is literally watching me closely anytime I laugh or sneeze or cough. He's convinced it's gonna be hilarious... I told him it's more likely that I'll pee in my sleep, and he won't find waking up in it humorous.

My husband is WAITING for this to happen to me... so far, I peed myself once (while I was throwing up).  He said, and I quote, "Putting you in diapers will give me practice for our daughter. Except she better not have your butt!" Yup... Love that man to death.  Lol

I think we've all been there at some point. Or will be. My issues are sneezing, coughing abd walking upstairs. My husband wants to buy me diapers too.

And what ever dignity you do have left will disappear in the delivery room too. =( Time to work on those kegels! I have problems when I cough or sneeze. I confided in my Nana about it and now she teases me about needing to borrow her Depends -.-
