When are you going to deliver?!

I am 35 weeks and at my appointment this week my dr said that they will start checking me for dialation next week! I'm having to schedule a c-section but not until I'm 39 weeks so I'm wondering if there might be a possibility that my baby will be here sooner than expected? My dr said if I went into labor earlier than scheduled obviously they will take her then but I'm just wondering how far everyone else made it thru their pregnancies and if you tend to deliver earlier with your second/third pregnancies?

I'm 37+3 and baby weighs 7 1/2 pounds. I've dilated 1cm so far. Dr hasn't said anything about inducing me so I guess she plans to let me go the entire 40 weeks if baby doesn't come before then. I have high blood pressure but lately it has been under control. These will be the longest 18 days ever! :/

My baby is measuring at 40 weeks now, and I'm only 36 weeks. My dr is making me wait until 39 weeks also. I have no idea why. She's already at 8 1/2 pounds, and I have other medical issues...so I don't feel like the dr should wait, but he knows best, I guess.

I had my daughter two days after my due date with my first pregnancy but I will be 39 tomorrow with my second and dilated to 2.5. So saying that the second comes sooner so far isn't showing to be true with me. But if I don't have him by my next doctors appointment they will be inducing me so he will be coming. Earlier but not naturally...
