wheezing during pregnancy

Im 28 weeks pregnant and for the last few days, I've noticed a quiet wheezing sound when I breathe in deeply. Its like a small squeaker toy sound and it only happens sometimes, not every time I breathe in. I havent had any other alarming symptoms other than shortness of breath but I've had that for a while from being pregnant. Is anybody else experiencing this?

You should seriously let your doctor know. I ended up in the hospital because I was having trouble breathing and was wheezing. My DR told me once I start wheezing I need to use inhaler because it's bad for me and baby. Wheezing is not a good sign. I don't have asthma and never had problems with breathing.. Ever

I experience the same thing. I did have asthma prior to this but rarely had any attacks but now I get them day and night, sometimes in the afternoon, which is so annoying cause at night I cant sleep with the noise and in the day I can't get anything because the attack comes on all of a sudden. I do have a pump that I use and that helps get rid of it. I guess since everything is up and baby continues to get big it will only get worse for me. But good luck. You should let your doctor know so they can get you an asthma pump, because you don't want a severe attack that can cause you to end up in the hospital if left unattended.
